HACSA

Housing and Community Services Agency of Lane County (HACSA)

Sign Language designed and created hand carved and painted HDU (High Density Urethane) signs for Eugene and Springfield HACSA offices in 2001.

Over the next several years Sign Language designed and created additional signs.  These custom hollow-core aluminum post and panel signs were finished with graffiti-resistant automotive urethane paint and clear coat.  They are located at housing complexes in Eugene (3 locations), Veneta (2 locations), Creswell, Cottage Grove, Junction City and Florence (2 locations), including multiple smaller signs at each location.

“I started working with Sign Language in 2001. I met Lisa when she came in to offer their services when they were a new company. I compared their quotes and skills with other sign companies and found their services, more reasonable, more personable. They helped create the large site signs for the two HACSA office locations. They matched colors and designs provided to them. When the funding was available for additional housing locations, they created an approved standard format for each location. As the years passed, I usually called to say we can now put a sign at this complex. They would go to the site, determine the best location, installation method, create and install the signs. There were never any problems. Before I retired, they had created signs for each and every complex the public housing division manages. These signs will be at the HACSA locations for many, many years!”
