Jackson County Health & Human Services Building Room ID

Sign Language developed a custom sign design, which incorporates ADA compliant Braille, raised room ID text, and includes a series of 12 icons and color coding for each area in the building.  The shape was inspired by architectural designs in the building construction.  The colorful toppers are removable so that rooms can change function while the room number remains the same. Some of the signs have paper inserts for employee names, and offices received a gripper strip which allows employees to attach personal message below the sign while keeping the corridors clutter-free.  Some signs also have sliders which proclaim if the room is currently in use or open.

There were over 400 room ID signs, and 540 signs in the total project.
